I Love Photoshop

Along with my new dSLR I treated myself to Photoshop. I love photography and can't wait to take it a little further, thank you Photoshop for getting me a step closer. The main picture on my blog was one I set up. Yes... we really do have that many pairs of jeans. Crazy thing is those are just the kids jeans, no adult ones in the whole lot of them. Good grief Charlie Brown.

Here is the "before".

And here is the "after".

Any suggestions on what to do with all those worn out jeans? Advice welcome!

Cut of the bad part of the pants and set aside. Get some girly fabric and make teers and sew on the bottom. Sell the remodeled skirts. You'll make big bucks. Make yourself a styling purse, quilts for the boys. If you don't sew um I guess find some one who would and donate them. Wink!) Some people would go bananas for that many good patches !! LOL

I am seeing that you have some things figured out that I don't know any thing about yet on PS. I have more than one editing tool. How do you get the dark on the edge of your pix of jean? I like that and have no clue how to do it with PS. IT would be so nice to narrow it down to just PS But it is not that easy to use. I do like PS tons though!!!

I saved a bunch of our old jeans/skirts to make a denium rag quilt for our full size bed...Mom and I cut and cut and cut, and then I realized I did my math wrong and I still needed twice as many as I had. Needless to say, I won't be making the quilt, but if you feel ambitious, ask Mom how to make one...

I say throw all the worn out jeans in a bag, tie the top and then walk outside, go about 25 yards due east of the house and you'll find this square blue box with lids on it. File the bag inside of the the big blue box and a truck will magically show up in a few days and haul them away. This will solve several problems at one time; first there may be a little more room in the closets and second I won't have to haul them under the house and store them nor will I have to go back under the house to haul them back out in three years when you realize that you forgot that they were there and Bode has already outgrown them.
Just an idea!?!?!?!?
