Crossing my fingers

Our house is "officially" listed as of today.

It's on the MLS and the sign went up today. Only 15 minutes after they guy put the sign up I had to leave the house for a showing.

And get this........ the wind has been blowing so hard today, probably gusts of 65 or so. When I left the house the wind had died down considerably, probably only gusting to 40. Now that the showing is over the wind has picked back up.....

Hmmmmmm........

Crossing my fingers here!

Nerve wracking, eh! We had friends here who's house sold in 1 week from listing it. Amazing. Hope it will go good, and quickly!

Ditto Wrena's comment! And I've heard it helps to bake something. Not that you have enough time when they call and want to come then, but I guess you could always have cookie dough in the freezer and throw some on a sheet if you have about an hr. or so. Something about a home baked smell makes people want to buy...just a hint from someone who had a house on the market for 18 months (that would be us!):)

From TX to you... 18 MONTHS!!! Oh no!!! One of the friends here was moving and I made them cookie dough so they could bake them before an open house. I think I need to make some cookies.

Yeah---and your luck would be that the little man would need some attention and then you'd burn the cookies!!! ooohh yummy, smell that burnt cookie smell!!!

hehehehe

I have my fingers crossed for you guys!

I can't make cookies. No matter what I burn them. Right after I moved in with TNT I put cookies in the oven then went downstairs. An hour later I remembered the cookies. oops!

Carin please tell Lineman if he'd like the item he thinks I bought for my mother I'd be more than happy to send him one too!

It's a plastic bird with fluffy feather like hair. He's holding a sign that says, "I am a freaking people person." It's pretty funny. My mom is the finacial aid director at the local Juco and she deals with the dumbest people. Her boss told her after a really dumb student, "we are here because we love the students." So I thought that was perfect for her desk.
