Don't they know it's cold outside?

The kids were outside playing the other day. It was pretty cold but it never stops them for very long. It doesn't look cold by the pictures, we have such a lack of snow, but trust me, it's cold. However, the day I took these pictures I think it was in the low 30's. I was originally trying to take a picture of Koda, our dog. He was just sitting there so contently watching the horses, cows and antelope in the valley below. Then I noticed my oldest son. Is it just me or does he look like Lewis & Clark? And what was their dogs name?

The neighbor girl has been coming over a lot. She is a few years older than our oldest but it hasn't stopped them all from becoming great friends. Now that she comes over my kids seem to have found their trampoline again. I wonder if they forgot it was there. Now they are on it constantly. It is so much fun to watch them play outside. Days like this one are hard to pass up for outdoor play. Mostly the kids are indoors due to the cold or the wind. Or both.

Thankfully on this day it was outdoor play.

Does anyone remember Lewis & Clark's dog's name? They did have a dog, didn't they?

Toni, that's right, I just couldn't quite remember it. There is a great story about another dog in Montana, for another time...

I don't know quite how to tell you this...but I just came from the area where you are moving and if it was in the 30's it would feel like a warm, balmy day!!! It is suppose to warm up this week, tho...and will be nice for them to have it back above zero!

Heading your direction on Tuesday, so see you before long!

WOW!!! We have that exact SAME "ladder" for our trampoline!!!! How ironic is that!!! Been very cold here but we have a snow cover. It rained on Saturday so now we have very icy roads. My kids are two hours late today for school.

Isn't it funny how when they neighbor kids take an interest in your play equipment, it becomes new to your kids again?! I love the action shots of them jumping! Hope it warms up soon for ya'!:)

You've got one BEAUTIFUL backyard! The pictures of the kids on the trampoline are awesome. It's funny how kids don't get cold. Wish I were a little more like them.
