Our View: 15 Minutes Ago

There is our view from our deck. Of course you are saying "what are we looking at?" It's a flat gray sky. Bad lighting. Nothing spectacular. Well, look closely again.
Yup, there they are. There were hundreds and hundreds of geese that flew right near the house. *shiver* (I think I need some slippers).
-
They were sure talking up a storm up there. Hey, that's what they were probably talking about: A storm. *shiver* (I think I need a sweatshirt).

I talked to my mom yesterday and she said it is snowing up there, quite a bit too. And it's coming this way. *shiver* (I think I need a blanket).

So while these geese fly south for the winter we are still here. Awaiting the propane truck to show up *wiping tears off keyboard*.

You know, all this talk about winter FASTLY approaching has me thinking that I should be just like a bear. Yup, that's it. I'm going back to bed. See you in the spring.

SNOW, SNOW AND MORE SNOW here in Montana! Batten down the hatches because it is heading your way. Warm slippers, snuggly blanket and hot cocoa...just the ticket. M-B

OH! Can we just skip over winter???!!! I didn't catch summer, and fall's barely started! (besides, I don't like winter anymore anyway!)

We need the moisture, but the cold can stay up there in WY.

I guess I'm a goofball but I like winter...of course it is Indian summer here right now, so what do I know about true winters?

It's more than 80 degrees here, we are still using a/c and those geese are headed OUR way - and it's a mess when they get here. Enjoy your blanket and slippers. We are still in shorts!

Last night I took Trixie out for a walk and some geese came right over us. We both stood there looking up at them. I'm sure we looked like idiots with our head cocked. :) I should've had my camera.
