Wheelie Time - Lesson Time

Saturday morning after we got the Little Man to take a nap we went out to the garage to work on a few projects. Lineman had to move the 4-wheeler to get at some things. He started it up and the boys flocked to him instantly. He took off on a little ride with them, I grabbed my bike and the next thing we knew our projects were on the back burners. Then the oldest and middle boy got on their bikes and Lineman took my bike. Next thing I knew they were all racing and I was going gray instantly. Then Lineman started in with the wheelies.....
I think he would have preferred the power of his bike over mine for the wheelies but he sure was fun to watch. The oldest boy came over to watch and get a few lessons on how to do a wheelie. He tried and tried but couldn't quite get the hang of it. I'm sure in a few years he will be doing them and I'll be wishing he didn't know how. Then I'll yell at Lineman for teaching his kids how to do wheelies.
The kids weren't the only ones getting lessons on how to do a wheelie....

More pictures coming tomorrow - I wonder who else could have given it a try???

I hope you learned to do wheelies! I've never been a motorcycle person. But I love 4-wheelers.

I can guess! I actually prefer our boys on motorcycles rather than 4 wheelers - less weight to land on top of them and trap them.

JKLMNOP - I can't agree more. We too would rather have our kids on motorcycles than 4-wheelers. Too many people get killed or hurt on 4wheelers because they go too fast and turn too quickly, then the 4-wheeler rolls over them. My sister in laws neighbor just lost a child in a 4 wheeler accident. We have a 4 wheeler but the kids aren't allowed to drive it.

WELL IWould rather they were on tricycles or bicicles. And I wish my son would grow some sense and teach his boys something worthwhile instead of how to kill themselves!! Nervous granny

I had fun with everyone doing this but she's right,,,,,,her bike is kinda girly and I was wishing that I was riding mine. At least I got to ride hers before she put the pink racing stripes on it!!

What a lot of fun it was that morning!!

I agree with all the above about the 4-wheelers- great machines when used right but kids are too small for them.

Looks like a fun day! I had to laugh at nervous granny wishing for trikes though! That would be me! Anything like a motorcylce or an ATV just makes me nervous! ;)
Love your fabulous fall template! How'd you do that?
