My turn

After watching Lineman do wheelie after wheelie I thought I should at least give it a try. Let's just say I certainly did NOT master it. I had plenty of trial and error. Of course it's not like the "error" part was that bad. I never did go over backwards. I pulled and pulled on those handlebars, giving it throttle just as Lineman had instructed. Most of the time I probably looked like a turtle with the hiccups - that's about as high as I got.
Apparently there must have been at least a few times I got a little air. And by little, I do mean little. This time I think I may have actually been able to clear a turtle with the hiccups.
Even though I didn't get too high it sure was a lot of fun just trying. The weather was pretty nice and it was just fun playing together as a family. Our oldest boy was giving it a try but wasn't having any luck. Really I wasn't having any luck either, I think these pictures all must be an optical illusion.
Optical illusion or not it was fun just giving it a try. Wether we're 7 or 70 we need to keep getting out there and trying new things. Wheelies - Check. Skydiving - Next

You are too brave! I bet you guys had a lot of fun.

Did Lineman take those pictures? He did a good job!

Wow! You're a brave woman. I'd have on a helmet, knee pads, shin gaurds, extra bottom padding (not that I really need it there), and all sorts of cushy equipment.

Looks like you all had fun.

How fun!! Don't worry about son - it'll come soon enough! Can't get ours to stop now!! I do get mad when they don't wear a helmet - brain injuries are too life altering! and they've had plenty of other injuries! I'm always thankful our kids (like yours!) have a fun dad! They definitely need it!!!

Good job! The proof is in the pictures :*) I could try that, but would have to learn the bike first. Too bad I'm stuck in town. I'll skip the sky-diving tho. My daughter wants to try that one.

Wow! That's awesome! You are a brave Momma! It took a lot just to get me to ride a whole bmx track for my boys. I'm not sure I would ever be talked in to trying a wheelie on a dirt bike! You did great! Great pics too!

Great job. I would never try that.
Don't worry about your sons getting it, mind caught on quite fast and blew my mind.
Where is your helmet? You should set that good example you know.
God Bless

I'm looking at the pictures trying to figure out what Russ is doing different than you and I think it's in the mouth. You don't have yours open wide enough. His is open a little wider. :)

If you think my mouth is open wide you should see Bridger try to color inside the lines!!!!! He even gets his tongue in on the action, like the tongue is guiding the crayon!!!!!!! (lol)

Us mouth breathers just can't win-

lineman
ps- I thought Carin looked pretty awesome doing the wheelies!!

I was going to say "it's a guy thing" when I commented but I didn't want to offend anyone.

I do notice that if it gets intense at all the tongue has to come out!

I thought Carin looked awesome too and I'm glad you took pictures of her since she's usually not on that end of the camera! :) She's great. Myrna

Hey grumpy gramma, after being with 3 boys all day every day I have to find way to have fun and feel alive. there is nothing like having the wind blow against your face when your riding, whether it be a bike or a horse. It is a feeling of freedom and if I didn't take that time I may go crazy. Trust me on this one, the chance of me going crazy is bigger than the chance of me getting hurt!!!

Carrie, yeah, Lineman took those pictures, pretty good 'eh?

Sharon, you are absolutely right, I should have had my helmet on. Next time no excuses for me!

Myrna, I tell you all the boys are alike, they all have their mouths open and tongue out, I think they may all be related to Michael Jordan!

I Love this!!!!!!!! I am so jealous and proud of you. I try and do wheelies all the time on 4 wheelers and if you look at my life list, I want my own dirt bike;
