What a morning

Wow, what a morning. The first people to arrive at our house were the concrete specialists.

Today was day two for them being here to get the forms ready to pour concrete for our garage. They continued were they left off from yesterday. Then a knock at the door, "hey, can you come look at this?" Hmm, that's never good is it? I went out there to find that after they had trenched and set out the line that they elevation changed 2 feet from one corner to the opposite corner. "Do you have some fill dirt we can use" he says. "Oh sure, no problem, let me just grab some out of my sons' jeans". Oh, they needed a bit more than that. Thankfully I have an awesome neighbor that does have a fill dirt pile left over from when she built. She said we could use some so she wouldn't have to look at that pile anymore. There were other things too, but let's not get into that!

The second people to show up was the delivery truck guys..... for my new washer and dryer! Woo-Hoo! I have been without a washer and dryer for two weeks but that's another post. That's right, bring 'er in boys! Right this way! Oooo, watch out for that open hole!

And during all of this a huge snow squall blew in. I'm thinking no, no, no, not now!
I was so thankful to have a little helper for Bode while I was busy with getting the washer and dryer in. The third person to show up was the physical therapist for my little crooked head, Bode. I did not get a picture of that but I have a picture of Bode in laundry. Let's play Where's Waldo. We did some exercises with the little man and I learned what I need to be working on with him so he is no longer the Leaning Tower of Pisa (scroll down to the 3rd picture of that post to see this little crooked head).

It sure was crazy here for a little bit. I think I got a look into my lineman's day the way it was so hectic and having to make decisions and put out fires. But wait, I wouldn't want to compliment him or something like that, so I'll just say the whole morning was a piece of cake.... whatever.

Wow- what a day! SO happy for your washer and dryer! No problem that the pile was so big! 3 times the capacity and 1/4 water?? Can't wait to see the garage project progressing. Jill

There is a special place in heaven for moms....especially the moms of boys with a million "to do's" (like pieces of laundry!) on their plate. You rock little mama!
