Forever In Blue Jeans

52 Weeks 44

We've had the Geo Trax in a box for almost a year now. The kids saw the boxes and it was go time for mom. Time for me to set it all up that is. Geo is a fun train set, just as much fun for adults really, I have a blast designing the layouts. Little Man loves it and has yet to wreck the track. I cherish these times he sits in my lap as I know how fast they grow. Fun times to remember.

********************52 Weeks********************

52 Weeks is a year long challenge for YOU to be in a picture once a week for 52 weeks. We are always the ones behind the camera, this is YOUR chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family. We are glad you are joining this challenge. More importantly your family will really enjoy having you in the picture. Thanks for playing along! Oh, you can just jump in now with 1 of 52, you're not getting off that easy! Now go take a picture!

We LOVE GeoTrax! Michael's set has lasted for years, and Jack has been adding to it. We get it out every few months and it stays up for a few weeks.

Have you seen the new airplanes? The tracks are like a roller coaster!

I'm that mom too, always putting toys together for my kids. That train set looks awesome and the picture is great! Isn't it nice to save some toys for a rainy day? We just got out Hulabaloo tonight we've had it for almost 2 years and the kids had a blast!

What a nice train track! Is it hard to assemble?

I'm sure Ayex will love to have one because she loves seeing real trains here!

We have never had Geo trax...but I was thinking he might like it this year for Christmas...looks fun. So sweet that little one likes to still sit in your lap. CUTE

Never had the Geo Trax...but it looks like a blast. Yes, enjoy those laps moments...can't get my boys to sit there anymore. ;-)

My boys, too, love to make huge tracks all over the basement. We put all the tracks into a rubbermaid over the summer when they are playing outdoors and in the fall when it comes back from the attic they are in love all over again.

Happy Thursday, Carin!

i've never heard of Geotrax... hmmm... maybe i should send Santa a note? :)

Great picture of you Carin! And yes - it's great when they sit still and you can snuggle them for a moment!

So cool! CG has been asking for the CARS version of geotrax. How long do you leave the track out?

Fun picture! I'm really surprised LM hasn't destroyed it. lol

BTW after seeing your bathroom remodel I stood in my bathroom doorway and dreamed what I can start doing to mine!

T-boy saw this picture over my shoulder so now I know what we are doing today! ;) We have a big Thomas set (similar to GeoTrax). T-boy isn't old enough to get it all set-up himself so I help him. I glad he needs help! I'm not looking forward to the possibility of a day he doesn't want me around anymore. wow! This rainy weather must be making me blue... Very sweet pix of you and the boys.

Love this! Geo Trax looks like fun! I'll have to look into it a little more for Jacob. I'm sure he would love it. I'm jealous of the people who have basements who can leave them out for a while! Alicia said exactly what I was thinking - you look like a teenager!

Wow, that is one big track! Great job with that. I love it! I know my boys would love it, too!

If it's got wheels and moves he is into it, isn't he!! He has got that determined look about him!
(LM that is)

I have my own 52-week project via Flickr and it's linked to my blog as well. I never thought it's here in blogger, too. This is really cool! I think I want to jump into it, too. :)

Beautiful photo!

You are so right about Little Man not sitting in your lap for too much longer. But, you know that since you have already gone through it with your older boys. What a fun time you guys are having. They will remember these things you do with them, again, I'm sure you know that. Enjoy :)

Sometimes I complain when I have to help set the train track up with the kids because I think there's something more important to do but your right, these times will be gone too soon! Great moments captured!

I still don't have a picture for today! Better get busy...

There are some def advantages to having boys, my girls are driving me mad with barbie dolls that make irritating noises just now.

I am dreading the time Minnie wont go for a nap or cuddle in for hours...they are almost gone. eek

Look at that track!! That is cool!

I miss those kinds of toys, Carin. Well, maybe not the amount of space they consume in the house, but the sheer joy of putting them together and the hours of fun. Play a little for me. :)
