Frantic in the morning

And no, I am not talking about running around getting ready for the school bus, though we do that, too. Okay, I am going to tell you a little secret: I am not really a morning person. Well, I am but I'm not. Confused yet? I can wake up in the morning, it just takes me a little while to get going. Maybe getting three kids ready for the day has something to do with it too? I might have to ponder all of this in therapy.

So, the real reason for a frantic morning is this... My little punk woke up early the other day in desperate need for a bottle. Speaking of the bottle maybe he is the one who needs therapy. Maybe even a 12 step program. Fine, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, since he is only six months old. Okay, back to being frantic. I strolled into the kitchen to make a bottle for my little morning bird. I look out the sliding glass door and saw the most beautiful sight, this was after I rubbed my eyes for 7 minutes to make them function. There on the other side of the valley, setting behind some mountains was a beautiful full moon. I grabbed for my camera and learned that it is not possible to take a shot with baby in your arms, way to much camera shake. I got out the tripod and hoped my little punk wouldn't wake anyone up with his crying while I snapped pictures of the moon setting. And let me tell you, it sets fast. Doesn't the earth revolve at 35 miles per hour? I can't remember, 4th grade was too long ago. None the less I managed to get a few good pictures of the moon very early that morning.

Lastly, thanks going out to my little punk for waking me up when the rest of Wyoming was sleeping so I could get this shot.
