Red, White & Blue

The boys and I took a trip into town today to the fair to see how the pictures did. It was so fun and exciting. As soon as we walked in we spotted one of my photos.... with a blue ribbon! It was like hunting for Easter eggs. The boys were so excited to look for each of the photos and find out if it had received a ribbon or not.

All in all out of 22 submissions here is how I fared....

10 First Blue Ribbons

11 Second Red Ribbons

1 Third White Ribbon

It was great also to look at other photographers work and see how they did. I was a bit confused on the judging but I guess it is all subjective to the eye of the beholder. So fun and rewarding to see my work with other photographers.

These three pictures are some of my 1st Place Blue Ribbons

Hey Congrats! That's awesome! I could only wish for the eye you have for photos. By the way- how much do you charge to do family photos?? Those pictures on mine were from Rapid! Story Book Island! What fun! Jill

Carin,
You're very talented! Your boys are very photogenic, they're so handsome, and you know just how to capture their personalities in a photo. Great job on all of your ribbons! To answer your question, I'd be flattered to have our blog linked so you could tell when it's updated. I've been kind of a slacker lately, but I'll try to keep it more up to date. Isaac and I love to look at your blog and keep posted on your family events and activites. We'll have to try the spray park again and see if we'll have better luck getting in. Well done and congratulations again on your entries, thanks for sharing.
