A new sport

Last winter Lineman was working in Durango, Colorado. Lots of snow, lots of mountains and a childhood memory of snowshoeing. He bought himself a new set of snowshoes and had a fun time last winter.

About a month ago I got a set for myself. Lineman went back to the store and got two more sets for each of the older boys. It was so much fun and let me tell you it is a workout! Our middle son went with his dad and had an absolute blast. Fun stuff I tell you!

We have a State Forest by the boy's school, yes-in the city, that lets you check out snowshoes anyday in the winter they are open for free! Trevor and I have gone with the cub scouts~very fun and tiring.

I'd love to try that. I can not ski for anything and I'd love to do this.

I have always wanted to go snowshoeing or at least have a pair to hang on the wall. They look so cool. Maybe someday.

I've never snowshoed, but I'm sure it would be fun.

Glad you're enjoying it.

There are so many folks out here that do snowshoeing and that enjoy it so much.
I have a low tolerance to cold otherwise I would love to do it.
I am glad to see the kids getting into it, what a wonderful hobby!
Hugs to all♥
