Minus 30

30 below

I think I’m ready for it to warm up a bit around here.  The kids got mad at me because I wouldn’t let them go sledding.  I know, I’m such a mean mom!  I don’t them them play outside when it’s below zero.  How could I be so cruel? By the way, that temp was the actual temp not including wind chill, which can push it down much further (-40 to –50).

It’s suppose to warm up in a few days, I’m ready to to see numbers on the thermometer that don’t have that little minus sign in front of them.  And to send those kids outside!

Brrr! we're suppose to head back home this coming week, really hoping it warms up above zero there too. I'll send you some of our 'warmer' (think 19*) TN air.. so the kids (and you) can get outside :)

Stay warm!

At that temp it just hurts to go outside. I hope it warms up for you soon! I know when it's been 30 below here and it warms to the plus 20's it feels like summer! You are way colder there than here, this morning it is 15 above.

Oh my! I thought we were in a cold snap but we are just above 0 with -25 to -40 degree wind chills. I did let the kids go play outside but they were back in within 5 minutes. I hope it warms up for you soon!

That makes me feel just a little better about how cold our weather has been lately. I can't imagine living in weather that cold. Of course I was born and raised and have lived in the south my entire life.

Oh goodness! That is cold! Yea, it's not safe to let the kiddos expose any skin at that temp. They must get so cooped up, and I bet you are ready to at least let them play in the barn or something, LOL! ;) Stay safe and warm!

We hit -26 here and with the wind chill it was -38.
I am so ready for warmth.NOW!!!
I don't think it was a good idea to let them out in that temp either.
Kids don't understand the meaning of below zero and what it can do to them. It is going to warm up someday.

Hubby and I were laughing because it was 32 here today and we commented on how warm it was. In October that was so cold. Funny how your perspective changes.
