Busy as a …. squirrel

squirel 1-2 wm72

I’ve been busy busy lately, but really what mom isn’t!  I now watch a little boy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so these days are certainly non stop now.  Top it off and my 2 year old thinks he doesn’t need a nap.  Isn’t there something terribly wrong with that picture?

And about this squirrel, isn’t he just the cutest.  As long as he stays away from my bird feeders he is welcome to stay.  If not…… I’m getting out the BB gun.  I kid, I kid.  I’ll have my oldest son do it.  Oh, I kid.  Maybe.

Oh wow, you are busy more than ever now!! And maybe your 2 yr. old outgrew his naps? My kids stopped napping that early too! I was like, "OH NO!!!!!!!"

Love the picture. It can totally be a card!

As always Carin...beautiful picture. Smiling at your BB comment. I have one boy that would love to come help you with that. ;-)

About those naps...that was always the dreaded time(when they stopped taking them). However they seem to go through a stage about that age, but I kept at it and they always went back to nap time. Sorry...but this mommy needed it.

My two-year old boy had been taking good naps, but the last two days he lays down for five minutes and then gets up and tells me, "I not want to lay down". Then he runs off and plays. I hope that nap time is not over at our house. They are too little at two to give it up.

I love that you say "I kid" too funny. They can get pesky getting into the feeders. My neighbors stuggle with our squirrels all the time. How fun to be watching another little boy. A playmate for your little guy.
Mine is 4 and doesn't nap either...sure wish he would...he still needs it.

SuperMOM!!! I love the colors of this picture!

I can't give the birdfood away. My feeders have been up for 3 weeks and they still don't much on the free food. I've even moved it to the tree that all the birds hang out in and still nothing!

What a great photo..soft and wintery. I think it would make a good looking card. And BoBo..."Take your nap, now!"

He is so adorable. I miss squirrels. When we lived in the country surrounded by oak trees there were squirrels everywhere. Then we lived in the city for a time and no squirrels. When we moved back to the country I expected to see the little guys again. No squirrels, though. I think it is because they hang out in the wooded part of our property so they have no need to venture into the yard by the house. I have tried to entice them with corn and nuts and such... which my dad thinks is a hoot because they are always trying to get rid of the squirrels at their place. Oh, well. We have lots of birds!

Can you believe I just deleted the whole long comment I typed here! Sometimes... anyway, it was all about squirrels and who cares anyway, right?

Nap time is never an option at our house... just in case you were wondering:)

Hey, and now I see my comment popped up down there anyway even though I didn't type in word verification... wonder what's up with blogger? First all the blogs I was following disappeared, then all my followers disappeared and now this???? LOL.

What a cute picture. Maybe Mr. Squirrel just needs his own feeder. I agree that he would look quite cute on a card. Take care. Linda

Too funny!! I am not found of squirrels...once one fell down our chimney (while we were on vaca) and ransacked our house drunk (he broke a bottle of very old champagne from our wedding)and then died in our bathtub...and that is what we came home too...so lucky...I know...don't be jealous!!

And that is awful that your 2 yr old out grew his naps...already?? Not good!

What is it with nap time? Mine takes them in fits and bursts. He won't nap for a week or more, then right back to napping. I insist on the quite time though!
