Listen to your mother

A few weeks ago my boys were outside playing.  There was mud nearby.

End of story.

Yeah right!   Is there any young child that can resist a mud puddle?  I told them to just stay away from it because I was getting pretty tired of cleaning up dirt and mud every 2 seconds.   Did they listen?  Of course not.

And then……  one fell in ….. accidentally……

And then I do more laundry.

End of story.

Oh...my heart is aching for him. What a sad face but I bet it was a lot of fun before the fall. My heart aches for you too...laundry is not fun.

I LOVE that you didn't wipe him off before you grabbed the camera! There are so many times that I think (for 1/2 a second) "Am I a bad Mom if I take a picture of this first?)

Great post!

yep. That is the story around here most days, too. Some days you could change mud for sand, concrete or any other messy substance of your choosing. But the story always ends the same. Thank God for tide!
