Friday Photo Flashback ~ Vrroooom

Friday Photo Flashback

I am in the middle of packing boxes for our move this week (we’ve been renting since we moved in April) and I have a dolly I’ve been using. I walked by it yesterday to hear my Little Man rolling the wheels on it and making vrooom, vroooom, vroooom noises.

Having three boys in the house is crazy at times. But I know God knew what He was doing to give me all boys. I didn’t have Barbies growing up, I had these…

Yup, I never doubted Him for a second!

I remember the second photo like it was just yesterday!!! Oh, you could go for hours and hours on anything you could make roll or go. And you loved to wear hats of any sort. I remember the one time I found you when you were supposed to be napping. You were reading a book and had an Easter basket on your head as a hat! I love the Friday Flashbacks. Keep it up.

I never played with dolls either when I was younger, I was a tomboy.
I think that is why God gave us 3 sons also.
Love the last picture of you.
Good luck on the move.

The thing that is missing here is God's great sense of humor. Because you were (are) a tomboy, you get boys to raise. He knew you could handle it and even give 'em a run for their money. You did like to ride stuff!

LOL great pictures! I love coming to your blog to see what pictures you'll have up as you have a great eye and now I see where you got it from. Your mom (i'm guessing that's who took those) had a good eye also! I also had to laugh as I was surrounded by brothers and a bit of a tomboy myself so having kids I always envisioned I'd have boys but God gave me all girls but one lil' boy who is ornery enough for all of them LOL!

I never did care for Barbie growing up either. My kids have the same little scooter...radio flyer. Well, probably the newer version...I love the vintage car in the background...which I probably only appreciate because I now have three boys. And I certainly know what you mean about boys making cars out of anything! My boys amaze me. I have shared this story with others and hope I am not repeating myself to you...but my Nathaniel was very ill from the time he was 6 months old until he was about a year...he couldn't walk, sit up, didn't eat, lost a ton of weight, didn't say any words... but he made car noises all the time! And he was the first boy...I can't even imagine where he learned car noises since there was no one around to teach him...it was instinctual, I am convinced.
