Two of a kind

Remember I told you that I got to meet a blogger friend in person, in real life, face to face…  and she didn’t even run away screaming !  That was a relief.  It was really great to get to know her better and meet her family.  She also has three children.  Now she does have two girls in bunch so if I appear to be a bit more insane, loopy (oh let’s not go on here) it’s only because all my children are wild and crazy boys.

Both of our middle children are pretty close in age, got along from the word go and, get this……  have the same name, Colter!  I asked where they got the name Colter because it is not a common name at all.  Turns out they named him after the same person we did,  the mountain man John Colter

Colters 1

So these two are either Double Trouble….    or….. Colters 2

Twice as Nice!

Either way it was so fantastic to meet this wonderful family and to have our little mountain men be best buds.  We can’t wait until we get to see them again!

It looks to me as though they may have formed a "for life" friendship. I can picture them still buds when they are 18.

Maybe we should just do more of this? just name everybody the same name and then when youre having trouble spitting out the name, well,,,, we'll know that old timers has set in!! Just think of the time and money we will save just trying to diagnose the problem!!

"This is my brother Larry and this is my other brother Larry....." :)

They did have a blast didn't they??

From those sly grins I have to say double trouble! ;)

There are a lot of boys named Colter down here in my area. I can think of three.

I love these pictures of the boys Carin! So they were getting there hair wet? I had no idea!;) Maybe it's a good thing that we don't live next door to each other...but then on the other hand maybe that would be just what my little mountain man needs. Poor guy with 2 sisters!

Thanks for sharing these pictures and we'll look forward to seeing you again!
