Forever In Blue Jeans

This is with my oldest son for his "Young Authors Tea" at school this week. Obviously his young author book is about dinosaurs. He read his book to me and we enjoyed cookies and apple cider (I guess this was the tea). It was a cute book and a fun time. I felt bad for the kids that didn't have parents attend so I had them read their stories to me while I was there. It was so great to get to see all the kids. I had worked there before my Lil' Man was born. I have missed seeing the kids grow and their smiling faces.

I must add that I was glad I started this 52 Weeks challenge. It was the ONLY reason I am in a picture from this event. Otherwise for simple things like this I would only have a picture of my kids. I'm so glad you are all joining this too!

********************52 Weeks********************
52 Weeks is a year long challenge for YOU to be in a picture once a week for 52 weeks. We are always the ones behind the camera, this is YOUR chance to get out in front and be in the pictures with our family. We are gald you are joining this challenge. More importantly your family will really enjoy having you in the picture. Thanks for playing along! Oh, you can just jump in now with 1 of 52, you're not getting off that easy! Now go take a picture!
**************************************

Please add yourself each week to the Mr. Linky so we can all visit your page too. THANKS!

As usual - great picture! Glad you could make it up to his "tea". I'm sure he loved having Mom up there to share his special day.

You are so smart to do this challenge, I might start doing it jsut because I only had about 2 profile pictures to choose from and that was covering a 4 year span because I am always behind the camera.

What a great time for the 2 of you. I also volunteer in my kids' school but don't think about taking a picture...it's part of my life, thanks for the reminder to capture that too.

What a great story and photo.
I'll bet the kids were glad that you were there to listen to them.
It is to bad more parents can't attend school activities with their kids.
Way to go.
God bless
It was -16 here on Wednesday.

Carin-great picture with your boy. I have to agree that this challenge always makes me think about what is going on that week, that I want to remember later with my kids. Usually it would just be them in the picture for THEIR event, but now...viola...it's them and me. Lovin' it.

I loved Young Authors Night when I was growing up. My parents still have the books that I had 'published'! What a fun memory & keepsake! I am sure that the day means a lot to both of you. And thanks again for starting this meme...it is so much fun!

That is such a good picture of you two.

I'm also glad you started this challenge. For the last two nights on my way home from work I find myself thinking of different things I can do each week.

Now that is one awesome photo of you and Bridge! You look like a teen in this photo. Best of all Bridge will have a reminder of what a cool mama he has...a mom who always supported him in everything he tackles. m-b

You know I really think Lineman needs a blog. Can't you just see his co-workers taking pictures of him for his 52 weeks. He could take one up on the pole....falling down the pole. :) It's been a while since I gave him a hard time.

If I want to start doing this, how do I add it on my blogspot? I'm technically challenged. Does the pictures have to be taken on Thursday, or can it be any other day during the week?
