MmmmMmmmm Milk

I poured my middle boy a glass of milk last night at dinner. I realized I had given him Little Man's milk, whole milk. I said it would be fine and he could just drink that instead of what we all drink, 1% milk. My middle boy insisted that he did NOT like the taste of it and would NOT drink it.

Okay, I said. I took his glass of milk to the sink and with my back to him I pretended to dump his milk into the sink. Then I pretended to fill his glass with 1% milk.

I took the glass of whole milk over to him. He took a drink, smacked his lips and said.....

Mmmmmm, tastes just right!

That's a kid for ya! Luckily he's still young enough so you can outsmart him.

That is funny.

My mom use to babysit a neighbor boy. He would only eat the name brand Frosted Flakes but my mom only bought the store brand. My mom got smart and wouldn't let him see the box when she'd pour the bowls. He never knew the difference.

Sounds like me and the "pumpkin pies from scratch" that my kids were determined to have a few years ago. We baked, scraped, blended the runny pumpkin pulp, tossed it when they weren't looking and opened a can of Libby's. Perfect pumpkin pie from the pumpkins we raised in our garden. :)
