Watching Lineman last night with the kids I was reminded again what family is all about. All of the boys, yes all four of them, were on the couch together. I felt like a fly on the wall, in a good way. Able to watch from a distance and take in the memories being made. It was nothing grand but it was time just spent together. They were on the couch reading a comic book. Laughing together. Being together. Then it turned into the common rough housing and tickling and wrestling. Ahhh, joy in my heart.
This morning the older boys put on some warm clothes and went searching for their sleds. Lineman went out and was pushing them down the coulees. Ahhhh, joy in my heart. I could watch them interact all day.

awe...looks like the boys are having lots 'o fun! It's the little things in life that bring the most joy isn't it!!
Hah! #1 punk comes to me first thing in the morning and asks me...no let me rephrase, #1 punk comes to me first thing in the morning before my first cup and tells me to go under the houose and get the sleds cause we are going sledding!! (LOL)
Gotta say that it is getting to be more and more fun every year though. It wasn't that long ago that I had to re-teach them every year how to do it and now they just know and are doing everything they can to see if they can break one of their body parts!!!!
As any red-blooded boy wants, they to want a half mile long steep, steep hill and then have me haul them back up with the four-wheeler----does sound fun don't it??
