I took the kids fishing and to the park early Saturday morning. We were out the door by 8:30. Why on earth am I telling you this? Because I am NOT a morning person. But I was determined to get out of this house. So I was out at 8:30... not too shabby for me on a weekend!
The kids had a blast the whole time. I packed a picnic lunch that we had at the park.
I had to try my hand at getting some
meri-go-round pictures. I had fun snapping away but let me tell you.... I HATE this piece of playground equipment. There is nothing that will get me sick faster than spinning around in a circle. Apparently my middle son feels the same way, he didn't even want to get near it!

Oh Carin I can't even watch those things go around and around. I use to love fair rides and now I can't even look at them.

You know, I used to love merry go rounds but I can't stand anything like that anymore, I'm dizzy half the time without spinning in circles! lol

It seems like every park I take my grandkids it has to have one of those and that is the first place they head. OH to be young again!!!

It seems like I must be in the minority here, but I LOVE the merry-go-round!! Next time I'll sit in the middle and snap pictures as you push. ;) I took Jacob to the park Fri. night and he was on that same ride a lot of the time too. I'm proud of you for being up and out so early - that's quite a mission to accomplish when you're not used to it! It's getting hot and muggy here - can I come visit now? ;)
