Remember this picture ??
Now I will show you the reason for this great grin. Sure he was having fun fishing with his dad, but check out what happened.
WaaHaaa, looks like he's got something on the line. Bring it in son!
This guy put up a pretty good fight! He actually broke the line just as he reeled him to shore. The fish almost swam away but Lineman reached down and grabbed him before he could swim off.
He was so excited he caught this fish! It was actually the 3rd one he had caught but the previous two were so big they broke the line each time. We switched poles for him after that.
There was enough time for him to cast a few more times. He had another bite and reeled this guy in. It was a pretty successful day..... in more ways than just fishing!

That is huge for such a little fellow. No wonder he is smiling from ear to ear.
How fun. I love that smile!
I had wanted to ask if they caught any fish with the earlier post, but just seeing Dad and boys together I thought it was a little irrelvant to ask...but I am glad you told us! Nothin' like going fishing and getting something on the other end of the line!
What an awesome catch. How neat for him. Big fun. so glad the camera was there to capture it all.
Wooweeee....that is one heck of a fish story! Way to go middle child!

You are the queen of awesome camera shots...I would not have even taken my camera...totally forgot about it today for a huge Baseball clinic with former and current pro players..I am SOOOO lame!!!!
Love the fish!
Oh, I would love to have some fishing time. Maybe I should come see you and let Middle Man take me fishing....or I could let him fish and I would just eat my share of them!! Cute pictures. We had a good day up at Chug preps today. Linda
Such a big grin and it's so obvious why...what an amazing outing for both dad and son.
So,...do you catch and release like CJ, or do you have a feast worthy of the champion who captured the trophy? (I vote for the later)
