Shoot Me! 5 of 52

Forever In Blue Jeans

Shoot Me 5

I’m finally getting my act together and finishing the bedroom downstairs. I’ve been mudding for days it seems. You can see I have quite the little helper. I hope the mud comes out of clothes because he’s gotten into plenty of it. I shot this picture by using my tripod and remote. I also tried out my new light stand and umbrella. Now back to the room…. time to start painting soon.

Shoot Me! It's time to stop hiding behind that camera of yours. Your family is missing you in the picture. So it's time to post a picture of YOU (yes, you) every Thursday with your child, your spouse, your friend, your dog, or even by yourself. Just get in the picture, you'll be glad you did! And just jump in now with 1 of 52, you can do it!

Also, there are a few each week on MckLinky that don't have working links, if you're not sure leave a comment and I'll get back to you to help you on it.

Carin,

You are such an inspiration. I have never attempted mudding and the thought makes me break out into a cold sweat. Would you consider coming to stay for a week and giving me some lessons???

I can not believe how big your little man has gotten in the last year! He looks so adorable sitting there like he is already to direct you.

Have a great night and a happy Thursday!

Oh, wow, that is a cute picture. You look pretty darned clean for having spent the day mudding. I threatened Superman that I'd be redoing our bathroom in the year he was gone...he's running scared now!

Dear Mud Mama,
Are you just finishing things up with the mud or are you texturing with it. My mom and I textured my brother's bedroom with drywall mud - hard work but kinda fun too.

Your little man is a doll!

Too funny - mudding and painting are what I'm doing this week too! Stayed up until 3:00AM Mon PM/Tues AM mudding. Now I'm putting up primer and paint. It's a lot of work but will be worth it. At least I don't have to look at that AWEFUL walpaper any more. Two rooms down, 4 rooms to go! I can do this, I can do this. ;) Great pic of you and Little Man. Y'all make the cutest team. ;)

Is there no end to your talents!!! He is such a cutie too.

What a cute helper you have. He is a little sweetie.
I would never even attempt mudding a room. I just call my youngest son, who does that for a living.
Have a great day.

There you are in the middle of that huge project with a smile on your face. ;) Little Man is so cute!

Randy and I have been talking about what we would like to do to our house (needs updating) but there is so much to do and everything has to be done in sequence (windows before siding, etc.) aaahhhh! so I just want to bury my head. But I am in the process of ordering new light fixtures for the main floor. :)

Thanks for the inspiration!

Carin,

RE: The 30 Day Shred

You just have to suck it up for those first three days. You really can do it and you'll be so pleased by the results. Taking the next two days off just extends the misery. When my husband decided to do it, I said to him, "The first 3 days will kill you. YOu'll curse my very name. Then, as if by magic, you'll wake up able to move on Day 4." When he finally got to Day 4, he was shocked that I was right. Thanks for hosting the meme.
