Powdered Sugar

Frosty Day 2

A hoar frost that had been building for nearly a week.  Gorgeous.

A hoar frost is absolutely breathtaking. We've had quite a few this year as well. I couldn't seem to take enough pictures - posted some of them. My grandchildren said it looked like the trees were made of white pipe cleaners, but powdered sugar is also a good description.

Beautiful! The background is awesome (and so is the frost!) ;) Now I'm going to have to google "hoar frost" as I don't know the difference between that and any other kind of forst!
