I was trying to get a picture with me and my oldest. I thought it would be cute if I kissed him on the cheek…..
I don’t think I’m feelin’ the love here. Just for this I’m going to kiss him in front of all his friends on his first day in High School! Bwaa haaa haaaa!!!

Okay, having raised two boys (one of whom is 19 already) I totally laughed at that picture and I can say with confidence that kissing him the first day of high school is definitely appropriate!

I know just how you feel as a mom. My oldest daughter will not let me within 5 feet of her! Can't even give her a hug! Geez.

I drove mine to first day of HS and I had to park a block away to drop him off. Love them boys!!!
I gave my 4th grader a hug today at school when I found out what she got on her science test because I was so excited. She was embarrassed too! We can't help our reactions.
Or when you drop him off at the Homecoming Dance. The threat of being there is enough :)
