Shoot Me! 33 of 52

Forever In Blue Jeans

It has been non stop work on our basement.  We are turning into a studio.August 005

After Lineman and I put up the drywall I mudded the whole room, then primed it, spray textured, primed again, and then painted.

August 012

Then it was on to replacing all of the outlets.  Ugh, the were dark brown, the bright white looked so much better!

Shoot Me! It's time to stop hiding behind that camera of yours. Your family is missing you in the picture. So it's time to post a picture of YOU (yes, you) every Thursday with your child, your spouse, your friend, your dog, or even by yourself. Just get in the picture, you'll be glad you did! And just jump in now with 1 of 52, you can do it!

Good job! I used to watch my dad doing electrical stuff and I remember having fun while watching him do the outlets and everything. ^^,

That looks like a lot of work but it will be nice when it is done. I can't wait to see the finished project.
I also really liked the boys at the beach. Looks like fun and a good way to cool down.

That's a ton of work, but I'm sure it's all worth it for the results, and the plan.

Way to go Carin!! I know how many hours you have on the studio project. It looks awesome, and I know yesterday's photo shoot must have been perfect in the new setting. And I'm with Carrie...your legs....whooot whoot!

Carin,

You are so versatile. I can not believe you are doing all that work in your basement yourself! You are my hero!!! I need to learn to do some drywall and finish work... our basement finish has been stalled more than a year because of it.

Hugs,

Kat
