Now THAT is something to SMILE about!
August Birthday ~ Grand #1

That's when I noticed something more than his laughter and giggles. Something more than his smile.
And that is some serious static electricity! He was having so much fun.
Okay, Okay, I know his hair is a little long, what can you do? It will see scissors one of these days.

So now that he is walking what does that mean for me? Will he be running with his brothers soon? Will he be running marathons? Will he be running with the bulls? I think I'll just freeze this little moment in time for a little bit and enjoy the "get up and fall" that goes with learning to walk.
Doesn't he just look too sad. He is pretty clingy tonight. I'll take clingy.
Ohhhhhhh yuuuuuum. Mom, can I have a quarter? Pleeeeeeeease? Just one piece of candy? Brothers, can you give me a quarter? Please? Just one piece of candy?
There is my mom with Little Man. She's funny and nice and smart... and skinny, some things just aren't fair!
She had a ball with the kids and the kids had a ball with her. Of course getting used to the sound level in our house takes some getting used to. Even Lineman isn't used to the sound level - especially in the car. If you want to pick on him ask him how he likes driving with all the kids!
This little guy is absolutely killing me with those eyes. Oh, those eyes! Everywhere I look his eyes are there. I didn't take too many pictures of him as an infant because his skin was in such bad shape. But now? Now I can't take my eyes off him. Let alone the camera.
These were all taken up in the mountains near us. I was looking for a great place to do a fall shoot. I would say it looks like we found it. Would you agree?
My oldest son was walking down the drive way to go wait for the bus. I noticed my little man head over to the door. He pulled himself up and sat and watched his brother and their faithful dog walk down to the road. I do believe that if the door had been open he would have crawled all the way down there just to be with his brother.
And I just love this little belt. It went through the 1st go 'round with our oldest boy. Then the 2nd go 'round. Now it looks like it is ready for the 3rd go 'round. The belt is surely in the running for the winner of the all around. It does more than just look good, too. It can make a wonderful toy on a Sunday morning, or anytime for that matter. Plus, it drives the girls crazy. And by girls - I mean me. The buckle on the other hand, it seems to be losing some steam. I guess if it doesn't make it I'll just take his dad's buckle and put it on there.... that would be a site!
That is, except for what is about to happen....
He's getting pretty close to that kid.....
There goes the tongue!
OH, he did it. Never fails. You mess with the dog, you get the tongue!
