Saying Goodbye

Saying goodbye to our house for the last time...
After all the boxes were packed up and they loaded up the last of the furniture....

The kids had a blast pulling up the carpet saver. They played and played in the empty house.

After I finished cleaning the house we piled up in our crowded outfits. I thought to take one last sunset photo, though it wasn't quite sunset just yet. I think I was pretty spoiled for these shots. All I ever had to do was just step out on the back deck and snap away.
The first night at the hotel we picked up some Applebee's take out. Booster seat? We don't need no stinkin' booster seat? A Spider Man suitcase works just fine!

Forever In Blue Jeans

The boxes were piled everywhere for our move. I thought this picture would be a way to remember this time and to see just how old and tall the boys were when we look back years from now. The oldest was at his last day at school or I definitely would have had him in this picture too!

Thinking spring....

If you blow this up you can see the flowers (upside down) in the water droplet. Ahhh, is spring almost here?

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to our oldest son...... How can he be 8 already?
We have finally made it up here to Montana. Things are a little different but I am learning to take it all in stride. Today is not only my oldest sons birthday, it is also his very first day at a new school. I am REALLY crossing my fingers this goes well today. I'll bring in some treats - I wanted to make Bakerella's cake pops but as you can imagine the boxes are piled to the ceiling so that's just not going to happen. This little town does have a grocery store so I'll pop in and hopefully they'll have something I can take to class.
Happy birthday to my wonderful son. Thank you for all that you teach me, your caring heart and awesome personality!

Into my sunset archives again. This is from July '09. Just a short drive from our home. I love the train track lit up.

Being ornery?

Another from my little photoshoot with the boys. Little Man was being a little ornery. You can't tell by that look on his face can you?

Forever In Blue Jeans

This was taken Sunday morning as we had a little good bye with our friends. I can't remember the last time we had a family picture of all of us. It was about time!

A surprise picture

After I began my blog it wasn't long until I got a comment from Lineman's cousin's wife. We were able to start up a wonderful friendship thanks to the Internet. They were driving through Cheyenne last week and we got to see each other in person. What a treat. We went out to eat and she brought her totally awesome camera with her. She snapped a few pictures and she sent me this one of my Little Man. I love it!
