When it comes to photography, it helps to have a nice, willing, cooperative model.
My oldest son is my go to guy when I want to work on some new techniques. Even during their fishing trip he was willing to stop every now and again and be a model for me. And what do I get? Pictures like the above one that I absolutely fall in love with.
And then there is my middle son…. it’s a whole nother ball game with him.
Yes, thank you for that wonderful pose Wild Child. You are one of a kind.
And it doesn’t stop there. He’s full of these.
So, it’s the tale of two models…
And I love ‘em both. Their uniqueness is why I love them.
Great pictures - what a couple of troopers!
ReplyDeleteNow I could never just pick 1 of those 2 cuties although I just need to know how you edit everything...just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny cuz my boys are the same way!! My older one is the one that doesn't like to pose and my younger one is a ham! Love that first pic with all of the sparkles...so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love them too! I bet your boys are so fun to play with!!
ReplyDeleteawww...the world would be boring if all our kids were just alike! I'm learning that every day. ;) Even though your models are different from each other they both fit the category of handsome! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am convinced that before the wild child was given to us he was told to take it to the limit at any chance possible! His pics are just as good though! One of my fav's is the one on your page here in front of Rushmore.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!

they (kids) are always different, which is what makes it so much fun. BTW, all children have the same job: test every limit. Bridger may be compliant now, but his time is probably coming. Remember, the teenage years are ahead...
ReplyDeleteBut then again, you weren't that bad (and compared to your brother, you were a saint).

If I had to guess I would say that the oldest son takes after his sweet mommy and the middle son takes after his ornery father! But I'm just guessing on this. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos...love the special effects. Your boys are just adorable.
ReplyDeleteSeriously Carin, that first picture could win contests. It is sooooo good!
ReplyDeleteI would say that you did catch the best of the boys. They are sure cute
ReplyDeleteI love the dimples.
As the saying goes "A picture is worth a thousand words"....how true! I'm right with you, dear daughter. We love them for just who they are. Thanks for my morning smile!
ReplyDeleteThey both are so handsome! At least they will pose. My daughter is now saying "enough pictures". It makes me crazy... you can never have enough pictures! Yours are beautiful.
ReplyDeletei'm amazed at how kids can come from the same 2 people and be completely different.
ReplyDeletethe tale of two models applies to our family as well.. actually make it 4 models. :) it's a treat/chore getting pics some day! but i love em all! spunky, cute, ornery, cooperative...
Those are both beautiful shots. Magazine cover material. just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour middle boy...reminds me of my middle boy(Kaleb). They are all so lovable in their own ways!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pictures, Carin. I love the sun reflecting off the water in that first one. Nice catch, girl.
ReplyDeleteAwww they're just so handsome!
ReplyDeletegreat pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat delights... both of them. Love the spunky gleam in their eyes. The gleam off the water is lovely too... how did you do it?
ReplyDeleteCan you tell us a little bit about your camera and lenses? Plus, I think you should up your prices on your photography site, you're short selling yourself! :)
