We usually have anywhere from 1 –10 tornadoes a year in Montana, this year though…….. we’ve had 24 tornados, with nearly all of them in the northeast corner where we live. It’s really enough to make a person nervous anymore.
Can U believe we got hit by a tornado in our neighborhood...9/24/2001 was the year. It came through as fast as it left. It destroyed 5 houses and did a lot of damage to our house and many others on our block. Very unusual for central Pa. Yep..tornados can make a person reaaaaaly Nervous!!!
I know! It is so strange...we are up here in Alberta and I grew up hardly ever hearing about a tornado, much less seeing one...this year there are sightings, warnings, touchdowns...over and over again. What is up with this? It's so wild.
That photo is beautiful and scary all in one! I would be on pins and needles all the time if I lived in your town, but then I guess you get used to it. I'm sure you have a good plan in place for when a storm brews up.
I would be nervous too!! Can't say that I miss them! Hope your nerves hang in there!
