Standing in front of a big water tank they have full of the local fish.
I was a chaperone for the 3rd grade field trip this week. This picture is at the Interpretive Center, a VERY cool place to go. It’s all about the dam that is here and the making of it. My sons Great Grandfather worked on this dam for several years around 1934.
Then we went to the MT Fish Wildlife and Parks hatchery station, that was super cool too to see the process they go through to stock fish for our dam.
After that we went to the Paleontology Center where we got to see parts of Pecks Rex, a T-Rex they found about 15 miles from our house. Fact: Dinos set foot right here where I sit typing this blog! Lots of other dino finds there too.
For living in a VERY small town, there sure are some neat things to see around here.
Shoot Me! It's time to stop hiding behind that camera of yours. Your family is missing you in the picture. So it's time to post a picture of YOU (yes, you) every Thursday with your child, your spouse, your friend, your dog, or even by yourself. Just get in the picture, you'll be glad you did! And just jump in now with 1 of 52, you can do it!
Wow another great adventure for you and your 3rd grader, great shot too! what is the fish that I see on top of the ceiling?

same question with Rose, what was that fish?
ReplyDeletelooks like another fun-filled trip! :)
It's always to see things around the town - and that picture was nicely shot, especially that part of the fish was captured, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's my first time to join this meme, by the way,
What a great idea! Love that black and white portrait ;-)
ReplyDeleteCute! And I love the b&w effect, too...
ReplyDeleteAnother great photo of you. I like it in black and white. What wonderful memories we are creating by doing this.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture and very interesting post. Glad you were able to go with your son on his trip. Making memories!! I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend.
ReplyDeleteVery cool field trip. I've always wanted to go to a hatchery. There is a dino museum about 100 miles from here that I've never been too, but my inlaws took the niece and nephew to it yesterday. The museum has Super Croc on display and they said it was pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place to visit and thinkin that your great grandfather worked there many many years ago would really make you proud of him.
ReplyDeleteNice photo in B & W. Mine too!
Advance happy weekend!

Your best friend didn't recognize his own kid because of your kid's haircut. ^^,

ReplyDeleteCarin, I have myself listed twice. Anyway you can delete #35 entry and leave #36? I wanted the name of my blog to show. Not just my name. sorry.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! We took our kids to Hoover Dam a few years ago and the story of all those people who worked on the dam in the middle of the desert was so humbling.
