Brothers & bows

The boys made a ton of bows when we were at my moms. They went through a ton of string and cleaned up a few branches in the process.

I love to see when my boys are kind to each other. My oldest was making a bow for his little brother. It was so cute to watch them interact. And yes, his tongue is always busy when he is working on a project.

My boys sitting quietly… ahh, I could get used to this.

These are the sweet memories I’ll treasure. Hopefully they’ll block out all the arguing later. Please tell me your kids argue too.

  1. Treasure the moments that memories are made from! Just so you don't feel alone, my kids still argue..and they are 18 and 22!

  4. It's so nice to see siblings getting along. My kids will have a moment like this then it changes to "mom, he hit me, looked at me..." Nothing like sibling love.

  9. Yes, I used to have to settled many spats.
I loved the tongue photo. I had one of my boys that did that. We always told him that it must help him get the job done right.
    Have a great day

  10. The funny thing is that BigB probably can't do a thing without rolling his tongue about - sort of like women who can't put their makeup on without opening their mouth or rolling their tongue...

  11. BTW, I think you are right lineman. Having just seen them interact, this has to be a setup..

  12. Oh Wow! Those pictures are great Carin! Yes, cherish those loving moments. I love it when I "catch" my kids being sweet and loving to each other. It just melts a momma's heart. I definitely wish it happened more frequently. :)

  18. OK. Honestly, my kids rarely argue. I have never tolerated it. If they do they keep it to themselves so that I don't know about it. Either way, it's good.

What my boys do, though, is the tongue deal. I have so many pictures of them focusing on something from painting, to coloring, to school work to cutting wood and their tongues are hanging out. What's that about?
