It must be rough
When Lineman isn't out on a job checking out the progress of a powerline being built or inspecting a substation, he still has to go to work. In an office. It must be so difficult for him since he transferred.
Right out his office door there are deer just hanging around. It must be so rough for him to work in such unbearable conditions. To take a lunch break and watch the bucks hanging around. Tough I tell you, tough.
The deer don't go anywhere either. They are always right around there. Always pestering and bothering him and his fellow employees. Those deer are a nuisance I tell you!
A lot of the deer I saw while we were out visiting him were bucks too. That could be a real safety issue. What if one of those bucks were to lose an antler right there next to the office. A person could trip on an antler and get seriously injured. I think it's high time that Lineman contact OSHA. It's the safe thing to do seeing as his work environment is so hazardous. It must be a rough job!
No kidding. Beautiful scenery to view each day. I know right...I hear of so many antler leg breakings around those parts. Totally not safe. LOL
ReplyDeleteWell if anyone of the guys are hunters...it could be tough to watch them all day! lol Great shots!
ReplyDeleteYour the joker! glad you had you camera along!!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, it must be tough!
ReplyDeleteBut then again, seeing all those great sunsets must be tough too.
Wow that's beauty shear beauty!
ReplyDeleteThat's so neat! I love watching deer. I notice that your deer are a good bit darker than the deer we have here. I know color varies but they definitely look different than "my" deer. lol
ReplyDeleteI agree it is very tough to work under those conditions.LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, thanks for sharing and for a morning chuckle.
God bless
yeah, my heart is breaking for Lineman. ;) Like Tina said - hope none of the guys are hunters...otherwise there might be a deer or two gone due to "self defence". ;) Thanks for the beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteLM better be careful. I've seen the video of him falling off a line pole so I can bet he'd easily trip over an antler. He's going to seek revenge for that comment isn't he. :) hehehehe
ReplyDeleteMust be tough...(Smile). My hubby would like it so hard. He has been at a conference in Dallas all week and said last night he doesn't even know what the weather has been since he left here on Monday...because they have no windows and they've not left the conference center since they got there. I can't imagine how weird that is. Tina, has a good point. It must drive the poor guys crazy who like to hunt and have to watch those beautiful creatures stand around all day staring at them.
ReplyDeleteTough, really tough. But somebody has to do it. It's just a good thing Lineman was there so it didn't fall on some unsuspecting soul. Unless Lineman volunteered to no one else would have to go through such misery.
ReplyDeleteCy
Almost as tough as playing the lazy bear. :o)
ReplyDeleteThey look like statues...dangerous statues! Watch out Lineman!
ReplyDeleteJealousy will get you all exactly nowhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow if I could only train them to do my work.........
Lineman
Cute post, I especially liked the part about tripping over an antler. Thanks for the smile today, I needed one!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures. My husband would see that as dinner.

Oh my. If he's a hunter this must be torture. They are beautiful though.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's what deer should look like, here in FL they look like small dogs.LOL
Funny! Wish my working conditions were that "tough" :)
